Opportunity Institute president and co-founder Christopher Edley, Jr. joins the American Educational Research Association's Annual Meeting Opening Plenary on Friday, April 13.

The session — titled “Imagining Radically, Practicing Hope: How Public Education Could Disrupt Racial Injustice" — will be an enriching discussion featuring a panel of educators, researchers, activists, and historians, including Robert Moses, Eve Tuck, Sheldon Danzinger, Prudence L. Carter, and Particia Baquendano-Lopez. The panel will launch AERA's collective conversation about public education, its central role in our struggle for justice, and the lessons we must learn from those who came before us.
